How did Islam begin? What do Muslims believe? Do Muslims and Christians worship the same God? How can Christians share their faith with Muslims?

Description

Islam is growing rapidly here in the West and many of us may encounter Muslims at work, at school, or in our communities. Even if we don’t, we can’t escape the subject when we turn on the TV news or open our newspapers. So what do Muslims believe? What are the origins of Islam? How does the Islamic worldview differ from what Christians believe? How can we befriend our Muslim neighbors so as to effectively share Christ with them?

Dr. Andy Bannister is the Canadian Director and Lead Apologist for RZIM Canada. He speaks throughout Canada and North America, as well as further afield. Andy is also a visiting lecturer for the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, and Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. Andy has a BA (Hons) in Theology and a PhD in Islamic Studies from London School of Theology (Brunel University) where he taught as a visiting lecturer for several years before joining the RZIM team.
