Content ratings protect people from unsuitable content, or content they don't wish to see. All content on Distribly has a content rating. There are three different categories: General, Not general and Possibly offensive. When you create a product, you must place your product into one of these three categories.
General content is suitable for all ages. Most content falls into this category and there are no restrictions on who can see it. You can always see General content, no matter what your account settings are.
Not general content contains themes that are not suitable for all ages, children are not shown this content. You can always see Not general content if you are eligible.
Possibly offensive content contains elements that people may find offensive. This includes, but is not limited to: profane language, violence, and sexual content. If eligible, you have the option to deactivate Safe browsing and view Possibly offensive content.
The Safe browsing setting is activated by default on all accounts. This filters out any content flagged as Possibly offensive. If you see any content you believe is wrongly classified, then you can report it so Distribly can review and classify it correctly.
